MIKE HEMMINGSEN
MANAGING MEMBER
Mike Hemmingsen is a managing member and founder of Wicked Pro Events, LLC. With unrelenting focus and sheer grit, Mike spent the last 20+ years building an award-winning sales career within the Information Technology space at companies including Dell Technologies, Windstream Communications, and PAETEC.
Client by client, Mike developed an industry reputation for his exceptional problem-solving ability and for consistently delivering outstanding customer service. As a frequent attendee of many corporate and sales events, he saw the potential to create a tailored experience that energizes one’s spirit and fuels inspiration. As Board President of the Grand Rapid’s Pride Center, over a five-year period, Mike put this vision to the test and revamped the city’s annual Pride Festival growing attendance from 2,500 to roughly 11,000, earning state-wide recognition as a top event in West Michigan.
Driven by an inherent passion to help others see their potential, Mike has dedicated many hours assisting multiple non-profits, including Grand Rapids Pride Center, Gilda’s Club, LaughFest, and Human Rights Campaign.
JACOB HEMMINGSEN
MANAGING MEMBER
Jacob Hemmingsen is a managing member of Wicked Pro Events, LLC. He manages the social media channels for Wicked Pro Events, and account receivables and account payable duties for the Company. Jacob brings extensive corporate travel expertise to Wicked Pro Events. He spent 15+ years with Passageways Travel as an on-site travel contractor at Volkswagen and Audi responsible for large group travel events.
Jacob attributes the years of managing hectic travel schedules to helping him adjust to change quickly with grace and ease – the very essence needed when planning any event!
Jacob was actively involved with Equality Michigan formerly known as the Triangle Foundation, serving as an event director for Detroit’s annual Pride for the Motor City event. Jacob now serves as a team manager with the Revolution Soccer Club in Grand Rapids, and webmaster for the Pine Ridge Elementary PTO.
